bespoke transport-related model-making services provided
- typically 4mm to 1ft (1:76, 'OO' gauge), 7mm to 1ft (1:43.5,
'O' gauge) and garden ('G' gauge) scales, although other
scales considered. Bygone transport is a speciality, although
more recent eras are also considered:
- Buses,
coaches and trolley buses
- Railway
locomotives, rolling stock and related buildings / structures
- Trams
(electric and horse-drawn)
- Road
vehicles (cars, lorries, vans, steam lorries and traction
engines)
Models
are typically constructed using either etched brass, white
metal, resin or plastic kits. They are subsequently detailed,
painted and finished to a very high standard, to match any
prototype details provided. Selected kit-modification (kit-bashes)
and scratch-building will also be considered where a ready-made
kit is not available.
The
models are hand-crafted and of very high quality and detail,
building on 30 years of model-making experience. The models
are suitable for either: individual display, inclusion in
a model railway or model diorama (such as a model bus garage),
or just simply as a unique gift for someone very special
(even yourself!).
Certificates
of uniqueness are supplied with each model.
